Announcement: Property Revaluation
The town tax collector has informed the SFLD that the third and fourth quarter tax bills were mailed out on time.
Unfortunately, due to a revaluation of a number of vacant undeveloped parcels, the amount due was less than a dollar, and in some cases there may even have been an overpayment of less than a dollar.
The town wants anyone in either category to call the Becket town hall before sending in payment. The telephone number for Kathleen Hayn, the tax collector, is 413-623-5727 ext. 16. The tax collector's office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM excluding holidays.The main number for the town hall is 413-623-8934.
Additionally, any proprietor who wishes to be included in the SFLD email contact list and receive email updates should send a email to sherwoodforestlakedistrict@yahoo.com .
Proprietors wishing to participate should identify themselves by name, address, home phone, and if possible lot number.
